Echo Live is a fan-made map of the airlines in Echo United Alliances, a group in the game The Airline Simulator. You can use all of it without an account. This page says what the site keeps and where it goes.
If you don't sign in
Nothing about you is sent to us. Your browser keeps a few things for you: your favourite airlines and airports, flights you're watching, your map settings and a saved copy of the timetable so the page opens quickly. They stay in your browser until you clear them.
Planes near me asks your browser for your location only when you press it. The location is used in your browser to find nearby planes and is never sent anywhere.
If you sign in
Signing in is optional. It keeps your favourites and map settings on every device you use.
- Sign-in is run by Supabase. If you sign in with email, Supabase keeps your email address and a scrambled form of your password. If you use Google or Discord, they tell Supabase your name, email address and profile picture link, and we never see your Google or Discord password.
- Next to your account we keep only your favourite airlines and airports and your map settings. No name, no address, no location.
- We don't send you email, show ads, sell anything or share your details with anyone.
Counting visits
The site counts how many browsers visit each day and which airlines, airports, flights and aircraft are opened most, so we know what people use. Those are plain tallies by day: nothing in them says who you are, and no IP address, account or location is stored with them. They are deleted after about four months.
Other services the page uses
- Map pictures from OpenStreetMap, and the rain radar (only if you turn it on) from RainViewer.
- Fonts from Google Fonts, and the map and sign-in code from unpkg and jsDelivr.
Like any website, these services see your IP address when your browser asks them for something.
Removing your account
Signing out leaves your favourites in that browser. To have your account and everything saved with it deleted, ask on the site's GitHub page and it will be removed.

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
